A taste of dissonance. The sound of frustration.

There really is no question when it comes down to which instrument most effectively channels angst. Pure, fiery angst demands a harsh, grating sound, something LOUD: the electric guitar. Coupled with the right amplifier, an electric guitar becomes your release valve. Anger, frustration, aggression, and sorrow are not difficult to find on a fretboard.

Yet at the same time, six steel strings on a rosewood fretboard spells versatility. From anger springs forgiveness, from frustration you get patience, and from agression spawns love.

Welcome to my tribute to the guitar, arguably the cheapest and easiest to learn of all the stringed instruments.
